I carefully wrap every link of this bracelet using brilliant, light blue apatite gemstones and high quality 14k gold filled wire. The stones are truly beautiful — they almost seem to be glowing with a light of their own, and they have lots of tiny facets to really bring out their shine.
Don't be fooled by the delicate look of this piece — the links are hand-wired to be very strong and sturdy, making this bracelet suitable for everyday wear. This is a piece you will enjoy for a long time.
The fifth and sixth photos show this bracelet in sterling silver, modelled by yours truly. Wear it alone for a minimal look, or layer them up!
My usual suggestion is to measure your wrist and then add a half inch for comfort. If you’re buying a gift, I’d suggest 6.5” for someone with a tiny wrist, while 7” is about average.
What is Gold Filled?
Gold filled is a layer of solid gold that has been bonded to a base metal — usually brass — using heat and pressure. The result is that, unlike regular plated metals, gold filled will not tarnish, the gold will not flake or wear off, and it will not cause allergic reactions even for those who are sensitive to plated metals. There is up to 600% more real gold in gold filled than there is in standard plating. Gold filled looks and feels just like wearing solid gold, but at a fraction of the price.
